-"The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams."-Oprah Winfrey
So here we are, a Tuesday, and we are fortunate enough to be able to spend the day with my munchkin learning at the zoo. No complaints here! We are blessed to be able to experience different things with her. We don't live an extravagant life where we can go on exotic vacations, so things like beating the weekend crowd and spending time with her at the zoo on a weekday is kind of a big deal for us (it doesn't hurt that we live where others want to vacation LOL). I'm living the life of my dreams, Oprah, one day at a time.
And just like that, Lennox turned 3! As one of her birthday gifts, aunty planned a trip to The Jacksonville Zoo. I absolutely love this place! It is seriously one of the nicest zoos I've ever been to. Not only does it have animals and dinosaurs, theres a beautiful garden as well! We explored the zoo in perfect, breezy 60 degree weather. Lennox had on a thick sweater along with her black leather jacket from our very own boutique.
Lennox has been into dinosaurs lately so I was super excited they opened a new exhibit dedicated to dinosaurs. It was not your average 'statue and info' exhibit. They had moving, roaring dinosaurs that looked totally scary and real. Lennox was of course terrified but in aw and I could see her eyes light up. She tried to point and name the dinosaurs as best she could before running off LOL. To be honest, I think she's making up some of the names. A "Broccoli-O-saurs" does not sound right to me. I'm so happy we got to see it for her birthday before it ends mid-July.
As we walked around the zoo, I was able to catch Lennox name the different animals on video (I'm trying my hand in YouTube as well. Video to follow soon LOL)! Although, she called a wild hog "Pumba", it was awesome to see how smart she is. It amazes me how much she knows sometimes. She was so curious, asked questions, and just plain old happy. Her excitement is truly everything. She didn't even shy away from feeding the giraffes. Pictured below. Don't worry, I don't have my phone in her face at all times. I just couldn't pass a video of my girl feeding a giraffe LOL.
This day trip was a blast! Lennox was so tired she knocked out right at the last exhibit. You know you did a good job when your mini takes a nap in her stroller without a fuss. It was a successful day, and my heart is full. Currently planning our next mini adventure!

My feet was dirty, and my eyes were definitely sparkling.
